Pappardelle Pasta and Sea Scallops

A favourite recipe with family and friends! Very easy to prepare!
Serves Four
You’ll need:
- 20 sea scallops (Can also substitute jumbo tiger prawns.)
- 5 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 a medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 15 grape tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
- Sea salt and black fresh ground pepper to taste
How to prepare:
- Combine and slightly brown garlic, onion and tomatoes in butter with salt and pepper.
- Add scallops to hot pan and sear until well-browned with the sautéed ingredients.
- Cook pappardelle pasta according to package directions. (Start the pot of water for pasta to boil while starting the sauté.)
- Add cooked pasta to scallops mixture. Combine all together so pasta is well blended with the scallops and sauté.
- Serve hot with salad.
