Beacon Wrapped Sea Scallops - The Quick Party Pleaser

Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops Recipe

What you’ll need:

  • 15 Large sea scallops
  • 2 – 3 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 Stick of butter (1/2 cup)
  • 2 Tablespoons truffle infused olive oil (Secret ingredient!)
  • 7 – 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • Sea salt and black fresh ground pepper to taste

How to prepare it:

  1. Cook bacon, but not too crispy! Set aside on paper towel.
  2.  Melt butter with truffle oil, garlic, salt and pepper in a saucepan.
  3. Add scallops and sear until well-browned on sides. Start with medium temperature and increase to sear well as needed.
  4. Remove seared scallops from saucepan to cool slightly.
  5. Cut bacon strips in half and wrap a half strip of bacon around each scallop.
  6. Secure the bacon to each scallop with toothpick.
  7. Serve warm! Can be kept in serving tray covered in foil in warm oven until serving time.
