Travel in Both Style and Comfort

Travel attire can and should include both comfort and style. I like to especially dress in monochromatic tones. This is a sample of my “go to” flight travel. You likely have pieces similar to these in your closet that you can pull together. I like removable layers of soft fabrics, including scarves.

The long forearm cuffs I’m wearing are for added warmth when wearing a shorter-sleeved coat like the versatile cape coat. It’s actually a pair of socks with lace trim! I’ve cut off the feet-part that had holes and sewed the seams! The “sleeves” now slide easily onto my arms, keeping my forearms warm when needed for travel!

I’m wearing a 3/4 sleeve Clara Sunwoo grey tunic, a Sympli black cropped vest (a staple in my ensembles), a two-tone grey/white J-Vest as a scarf, and my favourite classic bell-sleeve Cleo cape coat. Stretch leggings and low-heeled boots complete the look.

I’m also all about ease when travelling and love the lightness and accessibility of a nylon backpack. I love my Tumi Weekend foldable 0.95 lbs backpack. I like the leather envelope outside pocket with snap enclosure for easy access to hotel room key and the comfortable leather top carry handle to carry backpack as a bag or hang on wrist. There are a variety of stylish backpacks like this one to chose from at every price point. Tie a scarf around the handle and you’ve got a colour pop on your monochromatic ensemble!

Happy Travels!
